NFRC product certification documents available for review

As noted in the May 2, 2023, NFRC Update newsletter, the foundation documents for the accredited Product Certification Program (PCP) have been posted to the NFRC website here for review. The webpage contains information and a form for the submission of comments. Submissions may be made for individual documents, or collectively, by selecting one or several documents and providing the comments in the field available.

As there are also documents under review through the ANSI process, we are adding a few additional days for review of the PCP Documents. The documents will remain available on the site, and open for comments, through June 19, 2023. At the end of the review period all comments will be compiled by staff and reviewed based on the requirements of the accreditation to ISO/IEC 17065. Similar comments will be grouped together, and staff will work with the NFRC Board of Directors Workgroup to determine responses and what adjustments may be needed before we formally apply for accreditation.
